A podcast app that keeps your place on every device.
NextListen plays podcasts from any RSS feed and keeps your subscriptions, queue and listening progress in sync between the web and Android. Import your subscriptions from another app with an OPML file, and export them again whenever you want.
Features
Sync between devices
Subscriptions, listening position and your queue are shared between the web app and the Android app.
Queue
Line up episodes from any show and reorder them. The next one starts when the current episode ends.
Sleep timer and playback speed
Stop after 5 to 60 minutes or at the end of the episode. Play at speeds from 0.75x to 2x.
Offline listening
Download up to 100 episodes per device, or as many as you like with Pro. Choose how many recent episodes to keep for each show.
Chapters and transcripts
Skip between chapters and read along with a transcript when the show publishes them.
New episode notifications
Get a notification when a show you follow publishes an episode. You can turn this off in Settings.

Questions
Do I need an account?
Yes. You sign in with an emailed link or with Google. The account is what keeps your subscriptions, queue and progress in sync across devices.
Can I use the app without ads?
The web app has no ads. The free Android app shows a banner advert, which NextListen Pro removes.
Who can see what I listen to?
Only you. Your listening history is not sold and is not used to choose ads. You can export it, or delete your account and its data, from Settings.
Can I take my data with me?
Yes. Settings has an OPML export for your subscriptions and a JSON export for your listening history, queues and played state.
